Function, nature and sculptural composition

The design brings together multiple functions within a single unified form. The table acts simultaneously as a surface, a sculptural object and a space for greenery. Designed by Karan Desai for Serafini, the central planter becomes an integral part of the composition, allowing natural elements to emerge directly from the structure rather than being added externally. This integration creates a dialogue between built form and living presence, reinforcing the idea of balance and growth. The composition follows a vertical logic inspired by temple pillars, where each layer contributes to rhythm and proportion. The upper surface remains light and essential, allowing the base to remain visually central. JinaShilp coffee table becomes an object that supports everyday use while maintaining a strong architectural identity.
