Marco Ravina is an Italian designer based in Biella whose practice moves between industrial design, furniture and collectible objects. Raised within a family of woodworkers, he developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and material culture from an early age. This background shaped a design approach grounded in technical precision and sensitivity to proportion and detail. After graduating in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Torino, Ravina gained experience across industrial and artisanal contexts, strengthening his ability to manage complex production processes while translating them into a refined and timeless aesthetic language. His work explores the balance between function and expression, favouring a design of subtraction that preserves emotional depth and material authenticity. Within his collaboration with Serafini, this approach naturally extends to marble design. Ravina engages marble as a living material where structure and expression are inseparable, contributing to projects that merge technical discipline, sculptural clarity and contemporary elegance.
