From an archetypal column to a fractured form
The Tivoli Bench originates from an archetypal architectural element: the column. Pietro Franceschini approaches this form not as a symbol but as a raw structural mass to be transformed. The original volume is interrupted at its center and divided into two parts that remain visually and conceptually connected. This fracture becomes the generative act of the project, allowing the column to shift from a vertical architectural presence into a horizontal object for living spaces. Produced by Serafini, the Tivoli Bench embodies a refined interpretation of marble design where form emerges through subtraction and reconfiguration. The solidity of the original mass is preserved, yet rebalanced through openness and rhythm. Luxury is expressed through essential geometry, material clarity and a controlled sculptural language that speaks quietly but with authority.

A sculptural bench designed for living spaces
As a functional object, the Tivoli Bench balances monumentality and usability. Its proportions are carefully calibrated to maintain a strong sculptural presence while remaining approachable within contemporary interiors. The continuous surface emphasizes material continuity, while the central separation reduces visual weight and introduces spatial tension. Designed by Pietro Franceschini for Serafini, the bench can function as seating or as an architectural element within living environments. Marble is treated as structure rather than decoration, reinforcing the timeless quality of the piece. The Tivoli Bench interacts naturally with space and light, becoming a grounding presence that defines the surrounding interior.

Tutti i suoi prodotti hanno le caratteristiche richieste che ne garantiscono il normale funzionamento e la sicurezza d'uso.
Sono realizzati con blocchi di pietra naturale: presentano caratteristiche esclusive, uniche e irripetibili, come venature di colore in diverse tonalità, e possono differire dalle immagini di riferimento, dai modelli in scala e dai campioni forniti. Tutti i riferimenti sono sempre indicativi per facilitare la comprensione da parte del cliente.
Il blocco, a causa delle sue caratteristiche naturali, può potenzialmente presentare crepe o fratture nei punti di maggiore fragilità, in quanto queste sono imprevedibili. Eventuali imperfezioni presenti, attribuibili alla naturalezza delle pietre, possono essere incollate o trattate con resina, ma non costituiscono un difetto.
Per garantire la sicurezza del prodotto durante la spedizione viene utilizzato un imballaggio adeguato. Le casse di legno fissano i prodotti nella posizione corretta ed efficiente. Il cliente deve aprire e ispezionare il materiale entro otto (8) giorni dal ricevimento, in conformità con il termine legale. In caso di rottura, il cliente deve segnalarla entro tale termine per avere diritto alla garanzia. Assemblare secondo le istruzioni suggerite.
