JinaShilp dining table is a sculptural expression rooted in the quiet strength of Jain architectural principles. Designed by Karan Desai for Serafini, the piece draws from temple pillars that embody balance, discipline and spiritual order. These values are translated into a contemporary living object where structure becomes the central element. The base defines the identity of the table, establishing a strong architectural presence while maintaining compositional harmony. JinaShilp dining table is conceived as more than a functional surface, it becomes a space where design and meaning coexist. Produced by Serafini, the table reflects a refined approach to marble design, where cultural references are reinterpreted through clarity and proportion.
EQUILIBRIUM
Structural asymmetry and visual lightness
The composition is supported by three vertical elements, each distinct yet integrated into a unified system. Designed by Karan Desai for Serafini, the arrangement introduces a deliberate asymmetry that creates movement while preserving balance. A dominant element anchors the structure while two lighter components offset and support it, generating a dynamic equilibrium. The surface above is softened through subtle contours, reducing visual weight and enhancing fluidity. This contrast between structural strength and visual lightness defines the identity of JinaShilp dining table, where architectural logic meets a more refined and contemporary expression suited for living environments.

Crafted by Serafini, JinaShilp dining table is conceived as a fully custom luxury piece adaptable in proportions, finishes and detailing. Each element is carefully developed to maintain coherence and structural integrity, reinforcing the identity of the design. Designed by Karan Desai, the table integrates light as a subtle experiential layer, enhancing the atmosphere and creating a composed and contemplative environment. Serafini s.r.l. informs consumers, clients, and third parties in general that:
All of its products have the required characteristics that ensure normal operation and safety in use.
They are made from natural stone blocks: they feature exclusive, unique, and unrepeatable characteristics, such as color veins in different shades, and may differ from reference images, scale models, and sample materials provided. All references are always indicative to facilitate customer understanding.
The block, due to its natural characteristics, may potentially present cracks or fractures where there is greater fragility, as these are unpredictable. Any imperfections present, attributable to the naturalness of the stones, may be glued or resin-treated, but they do not constitute a defect.
Adequate packaging is used to ensure the safety of the product during shipment. Wooden crates secure the products in the appropriate and efficient position. The customer must open and inspect the material within eight (8) days of receipt, in compliance with the legal term. In case of breakage, the customer must report it within this period to be entitled to the warranty. Assemble according to the suggested instructions.
