It happens 15 to 20 kilometers deep underground, higher than planes fly above us in the sky.
Crystal Side table celebrates this raw power and beauty, through a form that feels less designed and more discovered. Brutalist intersecting cubes mimic that of crystals growing naturally in Matrix. The design is both minimalist, and yet maximalist with the designer inviting the uniquely complex patterns in the marble to take center stage. The designer’s upbringing was shaped by having geologist parents. His home was always adorned with unique rocks and intricate scientific maps. Surrounded by geology from a young age, Mitchell notes, “Nature was the first designer whose work I truly fell in love with”. The Crystal Series is about the rediscovery of Marble for a new generation. Marble, once associated with antiquity, is now in high demand reflecting a return to the timeless elegance of the natural world.
There's now a notable rise in the appreciation of quality objects that withstand the test of time. A natural counterpoint to the disposable society we’ve become badly accustomed to. The design is fully customisable with a wide range of marbles to choose from. You can pair bright coloured gems with a white base to match your interior. A black base with white gems is a sight to behold. Alternatively you can be an explorer and pick all different marbles having a maximalist visual delight.

With edgy crystalline shapes it's unclear whether they were intentionally designed or formed naturally. Despite their unobtrusive size, these tables are attention-grabbing examples of art blending with furniture design.

Each table has three exquisite gems gracefully emerging from its surface. The choice is yours - personalize your table by selecting three gems of the same kind for a harmonious touch, or opt for a dynamic blend with three different gem varieties. You could pick three marbles from the same continent, or one from each corner of the world. Mindful examination of the patterns and colours within the stone make for an awe inspiring experience.
