This innovative washbasin challenges the conventional form of bathroom fixtures, transforming the sink into a sculptural centerpiece. Composed of vertically arranged marble slabs, Piano freestanding sink allows water to flow through discreet gaps between the stones, with drainage fully concealed within the structure. The name “PIANO” references both the musical instrument echoed in the rhythm and spacing of the marble slabs and the Italian words for “flat” and “slow,” alluding to the tactile, almost meditative ritual of handwashing. Fully customizable in size, stone type, and structure, Piano is a made-to-order design marble sink conceived to adapt to a variety of high-end bathrooms, from boutique hotels to private residences.

The Piano sink is crafted in Serafini through a sophisticated artisanal process. It begins with a marble slab, which is cut into smaller slabs using a monoblade. These slabs are then meticulously shaped using a waterjet, which sculpts the final details. Designed to elegantly capture and drain water, the combination of premium materials and precision technologies makes the Piano freestanding sink a functional and captivating work of art.
