The Aime bench is entirely made of Serafini's finest marble. Its geometric shape will bring an effect of perfect balance to your room. Thanks to the design made by Herve Langlais and the expertise of our craftsmen we were able to work the strong material that is marble to make these beautiful rounded shapes that help emphasize the veinings of our luxurious marble.
GEOMETRIC
A natural material in an unnatural shape.
Designed by Herve Langlais, the Aime Bench conveys feelings of strength, stability, and comfort. Moreover, its natural material that is marble looks like it is bent in an unnatural way, and yet it is legitimate. The creativity of Herve Langlais combined with the savoir-faire of our team of craftsmen gave life to this stunning bench.
About
Aime is made from a single block of marble, which is initially cut to size by a single-blade machine and then milled 360° using a five-axis robot to define its shape. After that, our expert craftsmen will polish and finish the piece by hand, checking that it is then carefully packed and shipped to the customer.
DESIGNER
Hervé Langlais
Hervé Langlais is an architect and designer who trained at the Normandy School of Architecture in Rouen.
Noble materials used in the mass, pure and assertive geometries, care of the detail, guide his approach. References to the great sculptors and architects of the past century, constant sources of inspiration for him. Architecture is never far away, sculpture is always close, and Hervé Langlais' creations are at the crossroads of these paths.
